Music is an
indispensable part of Bollywood movies. Indians are usually brought up on heavy
doses of movie music no matter where they are. When you come down to India, you
will find movie songs everywhere. Wedding receptions, festivals, birthday
parties, graduation parties, family events, community gatherings and so on.
There are millions of songs already and every day there are more songs being
released that hit the charts. Some just fade away, some live on forever. I
guess since my mother was so much passionate about music, I inherited this love for music
and songs from her, but it was only after certain age that I started to
differentiate between a crappy and genuinely lyrical song.
